Dr Smriti Saraf

Dr Smriti Saraf completed her MRCP in 2006 and entered into a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) Research programme at the University of Hertfordshire. Her research was on assessment of thrombotic and thrombolytic status in patients admitted with an acute coronary syndrome and its relationship to clinical outcomes. She subsequently started her interventional cardiology training in South London deanery in 2009. Following her CCT, she did an advanced coronary fellowship at the Manchester Foundation Trust, UK and is currently doing a fellowship in TAVI at the Leeds General Infirmary, UK. She is due to start her post as Consultant Cardiologist at the Manchester Foundation Trust, UK in March 2018.
